About

Sipping on a cup of coffee somehow inspires great thoughts to percolate. In fact, when coffeehouses first came into existence they were not just places to sit and enjoy coffee but were used as a marketplace to share ideas. Many greats works of art, literature and even businesses were born at coffeehouses. Even the plans for the French Revolution and the American Revolution were concocted between sips of coffee in coffeeshops. Coffeehouses were even known at one time as “schools of wisdom.”

Thinking Over Coffee was inspired by the aforementioned events. It was created to cover the topics of philosophy, economics, math, science, politics, media, sociology, psychology, technology and every other topic under the sun. Coffee will also be featured from time to time especially coffee types, brewing methods, terminology, coffee roasting and the history of coffee. Brands of coffee which stand out amongst the rest will also be shown and highlighted if and only if they are particularly noteworthy.

So sit back, relax, and take in the pleasant aroma of the topic du jour. Also, don’t hesitate to drop a line regarding any topics you would like to see discussed here as well as your favorite type of coffee. Good ideas (like good coffee) are meant to be shared.

This blog is best enjoyed with your favorite cup of coffee.
